Mario Moraes returns to KVRT for a second season in 2010, having posted six top-tens and three top-fives last year for the team. Moraes did miss one event at Mid-Ohio when he returned to Brazil after his father's passing. Moraes participated in select international Karting events in the off-season.
Mario Moraes finished 21st in the 2008 IndyCar Series, running for Dale Coyne Racing. The driver posted three top-10’s for the season. The 2009 season finds Moraes competing for KV Racing Technology.
Moraes got his first taste of speed at 11 years old in a go-kart. He displayed talent and recorded impressive results straight away.
After three years racing go-karts, Moraes stepped out to Formula TR 1600 in the United States. Following his experiences in America, Moraes returned to Brazil to race in the prestigious South American Formula 3 Championship.
